The 'Y-Glass' is a reproduction of Sori Yanagi's 1966 design. Four vertical lines of dots create a pleasing visual and tactile experience reminiscent of water drops. The teardrop-shaped elevations also reduce slippage, and the sturdy glass quality makes the Y-glass perfect for everyday use.
Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899 and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware. In recent years, Hirota Glass has created its own style by harmonizing traditional European glassmaking techniques with Japanese glass art, while staying true to its classic designs.
