It is an old Christmas custom to hang the Christmas tree with a "Christmas Pickle". Somewhat hidden among the branches, the pickle with its green color is not so easy to discover. The first person to find the Christmas pickle will receive an extra gift.
These glass ornaments for the Christmas tree are traditionally made by hand in Poland. Each piece is mouth-blown, then injected with liquid silver and thus silver-plated from the inside and then painted by hand, layer by layer.
