'Taisho Roman' is a series of milky white patterned glasses, decanters and vases made using a process typical of Japan in the Taisho era. The aburidashi technique, which uses pattern molds to create opalescent colored patterns in the glass, is a glassmaking technique mastered by only a few specialists. The small vases are beautiful gifts. They spread a pleasant atmosphere with a few small flowers. Also suitable as a small sauce or sake jar.
Hirota Glass was founded in 1899 in Tokyo and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware.
