'Taisho Roman' is a series of milky white patterned glasses, decanters and vases made using a process typical of Japan in the Taisho era. The Aburidashi technique, which uses pattern molds to create opalescent colored patterns in the glass, is a glassmaking technique mastered by only a few specialists.
The ‘Taisho Roman’ tumblers are available in three different patterns: polka dot, checkered, or striped. The glasses are suitable for water, iced tea, and drinks.Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899 and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware.
