'Taisho Roman' is a series of milky white patterned glasses, decanters and vases made using a process typical of Japan in the Taisho era. The aburidashi technique, which uses pattern molds to create opalescent colored patterns in the glass, is a glassmaking technique mastered by only a few specialists. The carafes are beautiful gifts. Filles with wine, sake, cold tea or simply water - they bring a warm atmosphere to the table. The carafes are also beautiful as flower vases.
Hirota Glass was founded in 1899 in Tokyo and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware.
