The Japanese designer Rina Ono has developed a fine tableware series in collaboration with the porcelain manufacturers Miyama and Oda Pottery. 'Mizu-mizu' combines elegance with practicality and is inspired by Japanese traditions in a modern approach. Mizu-mizu is available in two different colors, an elegant bluish white and a light brown. Many antique Japanese porcelains have both a blue-white and a caramel brown color. With Mizu-mizu, Ono brings these traditional colors and their texture into the present and gives them a contemporary form.
Trained as an architect and designer, Rina Ono founded her design studio in 2007 to create smaller items that have a big impact on the daily lives of users.
