'Merellä' is a tribute to Finnish textile designer Liisa Hjelt and her beloved Jacquard motifs from the 1970s—inspired by the sea and nature—reinterpreted by designer Elina Helenius. The design combines timeless Finnish craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic. For every bath towel sold, Lapuan Kankurit donates €10 to the John Nurminen Foundation for the protection of the Baltic Sea.

'Merellä' is a summery design by Japanese textile designer Aoi Yoshizawa. The generous cloth can be used as a towel or as a summer blanket, on the beach, for a picnic or as a tablecloth. Made from 100% 'Masters of Linen' long staple linen yarn, grown in Europe and spun according to Oeko-Tex standards.
