The French designer Laurence Brabant creates fine glassware in cooperation with glass artist and flame-worker Alain Villechange. Like an illusionist, she creates poetic glass objects that are cleverly inspired by translucency and the difference between visible and invisible, always with a spirit of discovery and game.
The ‘Hot Cuts’ carafe is not poured over the edge as usual, but through a freely cut opening. This is created while the glass is still red-hot - creating a soft, irregular rim. 'Hot Cuts' can be used not only as a carafe, but also as an unusual vase: flowers can be arranged through both openings.
'Hot Cuts' glass carafe Design: Laurence Brabant Material: Borosilicate glass Dimensions: H 26 cm, volume 0.7 l Each carafe is unique and may differ slightly from the picture. Made in France.
