These delicate glass bead ornaments are made in the Bohemian Krkonoše Mountains using an almost lost tradition. The beads are handmade over a flame and then the delicate beads are assembled into stars, snowflakes, and many other shapes.

The technique of making hollow, silver-plated glass beads dates back to the 19th century and is now preserved almost exclusively in northern Czechia. Since 2020, this extraordinary craftsmanship has been included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.

With their delicate shine and slight transparency, the ornaments look beautiful on the Christmas tree, in the window, or on branches. Each piece is handmade and is therefore a small unique item from a traditional Bohemian workshop. An ornamentation that will enchant even those who are not particularly interested in festive traditions.
