Observing the gentle movement of a Flensted Mobile calms the mind and encourages clear thinking and creativity. It is best to hang it up where it is only very slightly moved by the air, because a slow, calm movement is the essence of the mobile. 'Drifting Clouds' is a reminder of what it feels like to lie in the grass on a warm summer day and count the clouds.
All Flendsted Mobiles are manufactured by residents of the island of Funen in Denmark. Started by Grethe and Christian Flensted in 1953, Aase and Ole Flensted are now the second generation to design mobiles in their workshop in Brenderup.
