The two golden birds of the 'Ares' earrings swing elegantly with every movement. The earrings pay homage to the famous, Hellenistic dove earrings from around 200 BC, which are now in the collection of the MET Museum, New York. The massive earrings are made of sterling silver, generously gold-plated with 18 carat gold.
The Berlin-based designer Elisabeth Schotte creates delicate, narrative pieces of timeless elegance. Found treasures and ancient stories inspire her modern jewelry, a series of new talismans and modern ex-voto.
