Decoration for evergreen branches is an ancient custom. Edible fruits and tinkered flowers were the first proven forms of tree ornaments. From the 16th century, the popularity of the Christmas tree and therefore Christmas tree ornaments increased, many ornamental forms imitated the former real fruits and nuts, and over time the set of forms of traditional glass blowing Christmas ornaments has grown more and more.
The magnificent whale can hang anywhere, of course, not only on the tree. These unusual shapes are the work of Marek Morawski, and the truly unique quality of his glass ornaments showcases the artistry and experience of his family business in Lodz, Poland. Each piece is mouth-blown, then injected with liquid silver, thus being silver-plated from the inside. Finally, the pieces are hand-painted and glittered.
