"Solacubes" are small paperweights manufactured by Usagi no Nedoko Inc. in Kyoto, Japan. They showcase beautifully preserved plant specimens encased in a transparent cube, highlighting their natural beauty. Collected and carefully selected by hand, the flowers and plant parts are dried using a series of sophisticated techniques before being embedded in clear acrylic resin. Each finished piece is then individually polished.

Chamomile Sunray belongs to the daisy family and is native to Australia. The white, petal-like parts are called bracts. These special bracts protect the yellow flower head in the center. Some also have purple parts, partially visible on the underside – bracts that were located on the outside during the bud stage.
