These poetic chopsticks (or cutlery) rests are a design from the 'Essence' series by the Japanese porcelain designer Kaoru Tao Abe, made in the porcelain city of Hasami, Nagasaki.
The porcelain keys are imperceptibly flattened on one side so that they lie well. But they are also a nice ornament to hang up on a twig or as a pendant on a chain.
The keys are easy to clean in the dishwasher and are a nice addition to everyday life. They are also a great gift - there are 5 keys in each set.
