The Japanese textile designer Aoi Yoshizawa was inspired by the wild Finnish island of Harakkasaari when she designed 'Saari'. The delicate color gradient appears to be painted with watercolors and is woven as a jacquard, with the typical positive-negative effect: the pattern appears on the back of the towel as a negative print of the front. The linen towel can be used as a sauna or hand towel or as a summer blanket, on the beach, for a picnic or even as a tablecloth. Made from 100% 'Masters of Linen' long staple linen yarn, grown in Europe and spun according to Oeko-Tex standards.
Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit is a family business; the family's first textile factory opened in 1917. Lapuan Kankurit values sustainable development and pure natural materials, responsible and environmentally friendly processes and cooperation with designers. The high-quality textiles will make you happy for decades.
