The 'Omphale Ring' is a delicate ring with an exact replica of a very small ancient coin, a 'Hemiobol' from 500/480 BC from Miletus.The front of the coin is depicted a leaping lion, on the reverse a tiny scorpion 'in quadratum incusum'.
