The ‘Lotus’ bottles, created by Colombian designer Lina Obregón for Ichendorf Milano, are characterized by their fundamental simplicity - vinegar or oil can be finely dosed and not a drop is lost. The inspiration is already in the name - the lotus plant, on which leaves liquid simply rolls off.
The two bottles are made of mouth-blown borosilicate glass - a lightweight glass that is nonetheless strong and temperature-resistant, ideal for use in the kitchen and on the table.
Ichendorf is a glass manufacturer with over 100 years of history, founded in Cologne at the beginning of the 20th century and now based in Milan, Italy. Lina Obregón is an industrial designer with a master's degree in bionics and design, born in Colombia and living in Milan since 2000.
