This elegantly crafted incense holder is a timeless design that conveys a touch of Japanese aesthetics and Zen. Handmade with exceptional care, hand-cast and hand-finished, the set consists of a solid brass sphere placed on a round brass plate, and a perfectly closing brass cylinder for storing the incense. The set was produced in cooperation with Shoyeido, the most famous incense stick manufacturer in Kyoto with a history of over 300 years. You can also refill with any other incense brand that has incense sticks with a length of 7 cm.
In 1916, Nousaku began making Buddhist ritual objects, tea sets and vases from brass and bronze in Takaoka, Japan. The fourth generation foundry uses traditional sand casting techniques, tradition and the properties of the materials are at the heart of the design development, and each product is hand finished to bring out the unique beauty of each metal.
