The 'Sahara' teapot is a design by Italian designer Stefania Vasques for the glass manufacturer Ichendorf Milano. The transparent teapot is made entirely of clear, heat-resistant borosilicate glass and allows tea to be brewed with loose tea leaves. This teapot is inspired by the classic Moroccan teapot made of metal. Made of glass it has a delicate and at the same time modern feel.
Stefania Vasques was born in Catania and lives and works in Milan. She is an architect and designer and belongs to a group of designers who call themselves "Officina Temporanea" and produce limited edition pieces together with "Artigiani officina".
