The 'Rhode' necklace is a fine golden chain with an exact replica of a small antique coin as a pendant. The coin is a 'Chalkos' from 350/300 BC from the island of Rhodes. The front of the coin is adorned with a profile portrait of the Greek nymph 'Rhode', on the back of the coin is a small rose or hibscus flower.
