The 'Maija' tea towels are made from a pre-washed linen-cotton-Tencel mixture. This special material, which was developed by the Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit, is extremely absorbent, light and dries quickly. The cloths are made in the weaving mill in Lapua, Finland - from 'Masters of Linen' long staple linen yarn and Tencel cotton yarn, spun and dyed according to Oeko-Tex standards. Tencel is made from pure wood pulp and all of its production is environmentally friendly.
The Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit is a family-owned business; the family's first textile factory opened in 1917. Lapuan Kankurit values sustainable development and pure natural materials, responsible and environmentally friendly processes and cooperation with designers. The high-quality textiles will make you happy for decades.
