'Yukinohana' means snow flower in Japanese. The beautiful, flower-like glass bowls are made with shapes from the 50s. The opalescent color of the rim is handcrafted by reheating the finished glass at its edges and gives each piece its unique appearance. The bowls are particularly suitable for a scoop of ice cream or a dessert. Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899 and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware. In recent years, Hirota Glass has created its own style by harmonizing traditional European glass manufacturing technology with Japanese glass art, while remaining true to its classic designs.
