'Yukinohana' means snow flower in Japanese. The beautiful, flower-like bowls from the glass series of the same name are still made with molds from the 1950s. The opalescent color of the rim is handcrafted by reheating the finished glass at its edges and gives each piece its unique appearance. The bowls are particularly suitable for desserts or small side dishes.
Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899 and has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware. In recent years, Hirota Glass has created its own style by harmonizing traditional European glass manufacturing technology with Japanese glass art, while remaining true to its classic designs.
