Observing the gentle movement of a Flensted Mobile calms the mind and encourages clear thinking and creativity. It is best to hang it up where it is only very slightly moved by the air, because a slow, calm movement is the essence of the mobile.
The 'Symphony' mobile was designed by Ole Flensted in 1972, inspired by Mozart's music, and it has become a true Flensted classic. Flendsted Mobiles have been manufactured by residents of the island of Funen in Denmark for over 60 years. Started by Grethe and Christian Flensted in 1953, Aase and Ole Flensted are now the second generation to design mobiles in their workshop in Brenderup.
