'Aallonmurtaja' means breakwater in Finnish and was designed by Reeta Ek. The generous linen towel can be used as a sauna towel or as a summer blanket, on the beach, for a picnic or even as a tablecloth. Made from 100% 'Masters of Linen' long staple linen yarn, grown in Europe and spun according to Oeko-Tex standard. The cloth is branded with the 'Clean Baltic Sea' logo, and Lapuan Kankurit donates a fixed amount to the John Nurminen Foundation's Clean Baltic Sea projects for each product delivered.
The Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit is a family business, and the opening of the family's first textile mill dates back to 1917. Lapuan Kankurit emphasizes sustainable development and pure natural materials, responsible and environmentally friendly processes and collaborations with designers. The high-quality textiles make people happy for decades.
